has trickflows quality changed?

My last set was back in 2003 or so. Summit owns them now, and could have then.

My last set was a 64 cc twisted wedge. They offer a lot more now.

Junkyard 302 turbo car. Looking for a set of heads. I was never a big fan of afr back then, but we have had good luck with the race prepped 225's on my dads car.

TFS makes a good head but the best way to get them is bare and have good springs, valves and retainers installed. I would get with Woody at Fordstrokers.com or Ed Curtis at FTI to get a custom pair versus some off the shelf heads from Summit.

I should say. Stock block, stocks rods and crank, arp hardware.
Stock cam. B&g single. It should make enuf power for me. The only thing I could see doing is getting the better springs.

My local machine shop were really wanting to try the RHS heads a few years ago said they had really good luck with their Chevy heads.

It will be. I've used trickflows in the past, and was just mainly looking to see if anything has changed since 2003.

Less boost same.power and better head gasket retention with alum heads.

Back then AFRs out of the box dominated every SBF head out there.

High ports straight out of box run 6.60 n/a. My second set of trick flows and I'm happy.

I had some AFR 205's for a sort time, the CNC work looked like trash compared to my TEA CNC'd High Ports (fantastic BTW).

The "threshold" of the block is relative to boost/power/rpms/harmonics/casting and so on. I made well over the so called limit of a stock long and short block (h/c/i) with a b&g single mpt70 for 3 years, beating the shit out of it daily. Some people crack them with bolt ons.

TEA is also part of Summit now as well!
Summit can hook you up on a set of CNC Trick Flow heads.
