Just got done adding PAG (4oz) to the compressor. 2oz into the condenser & 2oz into the evap. Total of 8oz.
Im running a new Sn95 mustang condensor which is larger than stock, plus its for r134a.
also using a smart variable orfice valve, which should keep the temps down @ idle. (big problem on foxbodys)
5° - 12°F colder air (at hot idle)
Reduced compressor load and extended compressor life
Improved performance when converting from R-12 to R-134a
Improved city fuel economy & emissions
Improved performance in factory R134a systems
electric fan is a Mark VII which will run all the time.
Should have it blowing cold by sunday. Ill post in cab temps when done.
