What are the two Electrical harnesses coming out of the T5 for? I know one is for the reverse lights.

Uhm. My t5 has 1 plug coming off of it. It's for the reverse lights.

The harness on the car has a plug that's not used. My car was an auto car and I'd assume that's the nuetral safety switch plug.

The original t5 cars use a clutch safety switch on the pedal lever inside the car. They don't have a nuetral safety.

The only other plug if for the speed sensor and that's by the cross member by the tail shaft housing.

Correct me if I'm wrong.. But ive done this to many times to count..

            reverse lights and neutral saftey.

edit, let me clarify, there are two sensors. Most that I have seen have a 4 pin connector with a single harness connecting both to the chassis.

I was wrong, it has the plug coming off the top and it has the switch on the side.
