You need the pre-cat so that the car knows how much fuel to add/pull. The post cat is only used to test for the cat.

Depending on your programming/tune sometimes you can remove the post cat and not get a code (ie unable to pass inspection).

Waite a minute....so i can't just slap the old ones back on there? I guess i should mention that my car only gets inspected for safety and its speed density if that matters

your car only had two sensors, just slap them back in.

you can also get the pre cat sensors turned off with tune. I didnt have the right lenth sensors for awhile and got my car tuned with out sensors and no check engine light.

Alright. So that i don't have to create another thread, does anyone know what i should do with the smog stuff? I don't.care to by a delete kit, maybe just get rid of that rubber hose.....
