    kPa to boost in pounds conversion????

    What I have can not be right.

    here is my kPa I need converted

        The 91.5 is normal atmosphere pressure of 14.7 psi. Sounds like the sensor doesn't start at 0.

          It is a 3BAR MAP from AEM.

            My 3 bar reads between 100-105kpa key on/engine off. Anything above 100-105 is boost anything below is vacuum

                right. So do I take the base key on engine off kPa and subtract it from the reading to input into a conversion over to PSI?

                I am trying to determine what my command timing is for any particular "boost" number and engine RPM. For instance, "at 14psi and 3,000 the total timing is XX".

                and the same for inch of vacuum....

                I wished this computer would let me convert a pdf or .xls into a .jpg so I could post my timing table (load kPa - rpm).

                      Yes, but I'd be suspect of a map sensor that reads 93kpa at ~500ft above sea level where the atmospheric pressure is right around 14.7 (or between 100-105kpa). Plus I'm not sure how the AEM works but the hptuners uses calculated cylinder airmass for timing and manifold pressure (in kpa) for the VE table.

                              I know jack and shit about tuning this shit. I paid handsomely for the tune in the car because of that. Understanding the theory is where I need to start.

                              On a side note. EFI101 university is teaching courses next month in our area. The guy that tuned my AEM is one of the instructors.
