  • Friend of mine needs help with his 94 toyota

    Needs to replace shifter housing gasket without dropping the tranny. Point me in the right direction

        Remove shifter, remove rubber boot, there's the tranny, unbolt top cover and replace gasket. By the sound of it he's no mechanic...he's screwed.

          He's not no. I haven't taken up the flooring to look. Just looked from the bottom. Didn't see an a plate to remove to get to it. But didn't look hard either
