I am looking for a good place to get some very expensive DBA 5000 2 pc rotors turned in Arlington. The rotors are not warped, I just need to clean them up since they have very stubborn pad deposits on them. Does anyone have any suggestions?

are they true "floating" rotors? if so, you have to disassemble the "floating" hardware and replace with fixed hardware. Otherwise, the ring will chatter and really mess up the face. Other option is to get a small die grinder with a 2" disc on it and while the rotor is spinning just put a quick, light pattern on it. Not removing material, just scuffing the surface.
If all you are looking to do is get rid of transfer film when going to a new pad...the die grinder light pattern approach is fine. In my experience, I just throw the pads in and bed them, then beat the snot out of them. Never had a problem with that method either.

I can tell you who not to take them to. O'Reilly's at Collins/Arkansas. They will definitely fuck them up for you, and then offer to give you $30 back on the rotors they destroyed."When the people find that they can vote themselves money, that will herald the end of the republic." -Benjamin Franklin
