Hard to tell with the exhaust off, you shouldn't have to touch the idle screw if all is working right, I can tell you that much. Fresh Fuel?

pull the meter out of the housing, see if the 2 "diodes" have a black film or look like little hair balls on them. If so, clean with Maf cleaner (can be bought at parts store, DO NOT USE CARB OR BRAKE CLEANER, at minimum use a good electronics cleaner) and see if it runs better. If not it MAY need a meter. Before replacing the meter, check fuel pressure and volume to rule out a pump problem. Wouldn't hurt to throw a new fuel filter on if you haven't all ready.

I also did a compression check. All cylinders are 160 and a lil under. Checked fuel Pressure at the rail and it had almost 50lbs. Ran a smoke machine on it to see if any leaks were going on and nothing. So should I change out the injectors with the 19lbs from a mustang? Or do y'all think it needs a fuel Pump.

I doubt it needs a fuel pump if it's working now and it can get the truck down the road at speed which puts the engine under load. It has 14lbs rated injectors now so 19's won't be right. It will run with them, but the computer is setup for 14's. Do you have a check engine light with the way it is running? I would run it with the MAF plugged in and get the codes pulled at the parts store. That would get you going in the right direction. It could be anything.

Thing is i cant drive it around. inspection and shit have been out since 09. Lol. Well ill try to get it to drive it with the mass air unplugged and see what it does. And also, when i push the clutch in, it revs to the moon. I turned the idle screw down but it still revs up when ya push the clutch in. Would the parts store have obd1?

I have both readers. Are you really in Saginaw? I know a decent amount about 2.3s, but they are all turbos. I could probably swing by tomorrow afternoon and see what the reader says. Hard to tell what's going on from what I read here.
