This. I've replaced a few regulators, and I've never had to mess with a rivet. The last one I did was done in like 15 minutes.

same thing on my ranger....rivets....drilled them out....did the my passenger side reg and motor in like 20-25 mins.....used bolts to put reg back in instead of rivets that were provided.

Please, I just changed the window regulator on my 1995 Lighting and it was a breeze. Try taking a back bumper cover on a 2005 Audi A4 or the front cover on a Audi A8L, you'll wish your were changing a simple ass ford window regulator.
