OK pulled my upper Intake & had 3 bolts broken. No bolts broken off in the lower Intake. But I dont see how the car ran!I couldnt find the other end of the bolts that broke though, So this has me confused Installing the following parts while its down & I have the Valve Covers off.

      1.7 Pedalstel Mount Rockers
Kirban Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator with Gauge underhood
      Ford Motorsport Alum DS
      1inch Holley Intake Spacer
      MSD Pro Billet Dist
      Red Ford Motorsport Wires
Indexing Plugs to face combustion chamber
March Ram Air Intake with Stock Rubber Elbow
Accufab 70 TB & Deleting EGR Spacer
Stock Fan Shroud over Electric Fan

Not sure if I will gain any power. But really hope it wakes the car up once I dial in the Timing & set the Fuel Pressure & adjust the TPS Voltage

I had a guy come all the way out here one time to buy some injectors. Aked if i would slap em in real fast, i agreed. His gt 40 intake was held on with 2 bolts max and not even the outers. Turns out he made it all the way back to the other side of the metroplex with no problems (and a ton of silicone). It is amazing how some of this stuff still runs. Glas you found your problem, let me know if you ever need any random stuff from the mustang closet.

                  Oil gunked up on heads,rockers,pushrods

Well installed my AFPR & pulled my Valve Covers off to find OIL GUNKED UP EVERWHERE ALL OVER MY HEADS & ROCKERS & PUSHRODS

Will this cause a problem down the road, Thinking about putting on a set of TFS Heads after seeing this cause I already planned on installing a set of BBK Longtubes!

But not sure if im gonna keep this car or sell it & if I did heads I would want to install a Cam & the car is still Speed Density

Man, the previous owner didn't change the oil very offen if ever. That's bad.

I have seen worse than that, but not much. In the one that I saw worse, I was going to try and slowly dissolve the gunk with oil changes. First oil change, too much broke loose, clogged the pickup tube and destroyed the engine. Since you are already there, it's not going to take much more to get the heads off for cleaning.

My worry is if the top of the heads look like this. What the rest of the motor look like or is the only spot it would build up at since the oil gets pushed through the pushrods.

I was thinking about either scraping all the old gunked up oil off the top of the heads & cleaning the Pushrods & installing my 1.7 RR. But no point in doing that if the rest of the motor looks like this. Im afraid to see the oil pan

I think its best I just put the car back together & pull what parts I can off it & sell the car, From the research I have done. If I attempt to clean the motor with Seafoam or use the Old ATF trick more then likely its going to losen everything up & clog up my pick up tube in my oil pan & thus blow the motor.

The pics dont do justice to how bad this looks, if you look close at the rocker mounts you will see the Oil just caked in them
