I'm wanting to install an emissions friendly camshaft into my 95 Cobra and top it off with a supercharger. I believe I have the supercharger all buttoned up so it's camshaft decision time. I have had on the shelf for a year or so a Comp 264NX camshaft. I was going to use it in my 93 Lightning, but changed my mind.
212/224º dur@.050
.510/.510 lift
114º LSA
Would that pass emissions? Should I just sell it and go with a custom grind that has far more lift? MY current cam has .543/.573 lift. The 114 LSA looks like it would definately idle better than my current camshaft, but is it too aggressive with the 224º exhaust duration to pass the sniffer?
