It also seems Hurst stopped making these V-gate 2 shifters and I am seeing people asking $600 for ones that look horrible.
I am asking $400 and that includes shifter, install kit, boot, extra bushings, and t-handle with button. Mine is practically brand new. Car sits more than it gets driven.

Part # 1386-000-012 is a T56 made for the 5.0 with a 10 spline input. That would save me $400 on buying a new clutch. It also has the mechanical speedo option which will also shorten the parts list.
They also have the T56-4 speed bell adapter. I called them and they have a specialist that is good with the early Mustang swaps. I am going to call him Sat morning and talk with him.

That's ok. It is better than what I have now. Turning 3400 rpms to go 65-70 mph. This car is not driven much just for fun.
I do know the first thing I will do with it after the build is complete is go do the laps for charity at TMS. I have always wanted to do that but the 4 speed and 4:30's have kept me from doing it.

Mainly overdrive and was originally just going to go T5. But the T56 is a stronger transmission and has more of that "wow that's cool" in an older car as well. Also, by the time I break a stock T5 and have it built with a gforce kit... the prices won't be that far off. The 6 speed just has the higher initial cost.
