compressor cycling what could it be

On an import too.

Compressor cycles and blows hot and cold air mostly hot.

Psi on Freon is 55

Fuses are ok as well

So is the ac relay

What else could it be?

Is 55 PSI the static pressure or the low side when the system is running?

If static, I guarantee you that the system is undercharged, causing a quick cycling issue. If it is low, then you would have to find the leak in the system and fix that before recharging. Otherwise, you will be looking at wasting freon and money.

What HOOCBB said. It could also be a screwed up/plugged up expansion valve if your pressures are actually good. I've worked on a few import cars that had that as the issue.

Low side with car running wc on full blast

Car only has 34k miles and is 08 g37 will that help?

Just because you have 55psi on the low side doesnt mean you have enough freon in the system. Check it for leaks.

Put a shot of the uv dye in there and checked it for leaks last night just got back from driving it and still no leaks that the uv light can see

Now its blowing ice cold driving 75 on the highway I'm totally lost on this car when it was hot last night it blew hot now that its darker with no sun it blows ice cold what could be causing that?

Check the pressure switch could be faulty causing the compressor to cycle on and off. If it's blowing cold sometimes then it has enough freon.

If compressor cycles on and is still blowing hot air, then you probably have a actuator bad/or hose leaking vacuum.

Do different temperatures outside affect the ac system? Like its nipple cold right now with no sun and 78 outside it gets down to 59 out the vent but a few hours ago in 90 degree weather the tcoldest it got blowing out was 68 and hottest was 89

some cars have them, others don't. some ac units control the waterflow to the heater with a shutoff.

How's about those fans working or not? Could be issue with airflow across condenser. Also discharge ( high side)readings are what?
