street tires suck. my cobra weighs 3200 with out me in it and it makes 440whp and my best on bald ass street tires was 8.4 and 7.4 with slicks. You should at least get some drag radials.
    440-RWHP, 400-TQ, 6psi
    7.4 @ 93 mph 1.7 60ft

I know but it just sux cuz then I have to buy 2 more wheels and it seems nothing in 15" clears the Cobra calipers without grinding. Purchase 2 more tires, find a place to store the setup, blah blah blah. I already have to store the wheels and tires for my 93 Lightning. I'm afraid if I start buying track only parts for the daily then I'll have 2 toys instead of 1. If nothing else I'd like to see 87mph in the 1/8th. That comes out to roughly 400 hp from the 331. I can live with that until I get the SC'er. I think my small 1-5/8 headers are holding me back some. It seems like the Fox Cruise cables are no where to be found or else I'd already have a 80 or 90mm tb on there.

If you want a drag radial that will get some highway miles buy the nittos.

They are miles ahead of street tires. I've seen 15000 miles on them.

I do agree that I need some suspension work. As of now all I have is Tokico adjustable struts im front, Tokico rear shocks, and nothing more. I need subframe connectors, and control arms at the very least.
lol you sound like my dad... he wants the fucken moon too and I told him to just buy a new Shelby and stfu about trying to make his fox a cadillac.

Id say have Brooks build you a small single turbo kit, put the stock cobra cam back in it (or a custom turbo grind) and itll idle like stock and make a shit ton of power effortlessly, and be quiet... the s trim is going to completely piss you off after a month if you drive it a lot AND want it quiet...

I ran a 7.7 @ 98 on 275 Nitto 555 Street tires in my 04 slowbra. They hooked quite well.

              On 315 555Rs it only would go 7.8s @ 99 with the same 2.0 60 foot. lmao.

I was making about 440-450 rw as well.

a V2 SQ would help, but its a touch smaller than the S...

Try a Si trim V2... its a little bigger than the S with the same low end grunt that the T trim lacks and its a quiet helical gear design... probably exactly what you will want, and it will prob make 500 rw at 8 psi without too much stress and heat for a daily.

                      you can spin a s trim 60k easy 20+psi.

450 rear wheel was the norm back in the day on a stock 5.0 6-8psi vortech stage 1 set up.

New cars are probably the worst financial decision an adult can make. All that would happen then is modding a new car, blowing the warranty, and watching the car depreciate , $3500-$5000 a year. I also prefer the look of my 95 Cobra over any other mustang. Personal preference I know.

Would like to keep the car somewhat original looking. That's why I will ditch the RPM II intake and go back with my Cobra. Wasted too much money on the Cobra having it ported then Extrude honed. I like original looking. Original besides the sc of course.

i run 7.70s with 375 at the wheels with all the other desired attributes you listed. my magic solution? p1sc @10.5psi, 3.73 gears, and a 9.5" torque converter. stock plenum, stock throttle body, etc..

I must be leaving a lot on the table because I should have right at or close to 375 at the tires.
