Whats a good way torepair a small pin hole in cast iron?

I assume that's a 99 up Gm transfer case. Most people don't have much success with the jb weld with those, but its usually being applied from the outside. It appears you patched yours from inside.

Why yes I did. Then shortly after I got to replace the planetary. It has been working since then. I do have a nice case if anyone is interested(pm and it can be discussed).
