i am pulling the trigger on this tomorrow. it is too damn hot. do stock ac lines work with my 351 or do i need to have them made? also i read on here something about using an sn95 condensor for it to blow colder. are there any threads anywhere on replacing the whole system? i have the compressor mounted up and need everything else in the engine bay

I used a sn95 condensor on my fox. Not sure if it makes it colder, it's just bigger which is better right.lol

I would think everything stock would reach the compressor. Not sure though. I have a smart vov, which I would reccomend. It's supposed to help the car blow colder air at idle.

I think you can get the liquid line with a vov already.

Ok I'm trying to get this in one shot. I have my compressor. The list I've compiled to the best of my ability is
                  Liquid line with orfice
                  Dryer
                  Condensor
                  Discharge hose
                  Anything else?
I am starting with just a compressor. Everything else under the hood was removed before I bought the car.
                  Thanks

Evaporator and depending on system it will have either a low pressure cut off switch or a high pressure cut out.

its a 91 fox. my evaporator was left in place but has been left open for how ever long i have owned the vehicle.

the internet sucks because every other thread you read is conflicting.
i am trying to decide between a stock, sn95, or aftermarket parallel flow condensor and also trying to decide between a stock orfice or a vov.

Definitely needs to be a parallel flow condenser on 134A system. Can't really help you on the VOV I've never used one.

i am leaning towards using a factory sized one that is parallel flow such as the one linked in the other ac thread. still looking for the vov that is already in the liquid line

Acutally yes. It doesn't get as cold as I thought it would in 100deg heat, but at night it fn freezing. I still need to wire my ac clutch to turn on my electric fan but its no biggie.

Knowing what I know now, just get the drop in parallel flow condensor. The vov isn't a must but I would read up on it and and decide for your self. Ain't nothing better than a fox body w a/c.
