  • Anyone got a MKVIII fan they are not using?

Can get them on eBay for fairly cheap but shipping kills it. I've lucked out at the pick-n-pull so I figure somebody might have one they are not using.

      dvilletune4fan?

how much you want for it? not 100% i'm going to have the room for it, but looks like it moves about 1000cfm more then the taurus fan i'm running currently. i'm right at the limit of my current cooling setup currently so i'm trying to get some safety cushion.

I think I am going to try this one. Its a Chevrolet part, so you should like it.

good idea, but the sub 3000cfm means it'd prob. cool worse then the 3.8 taurus i have on it now (3700cfm)

Yes, No. Good luck with that.

I had to replace the motor on my '93 Mark VIII fan a few years ago when I was driving it daily. It wasn't all that bad for a brand new motor if you come across a non-working fan. I haven't compared the Taurus vs. Mark VIII fans but is it possible to put the Mark fan motor on the Taurus fan and gain fan velocity?

Motor is the same. Fan blades are physically larger 16" vs. 18" thus pushes about 1k more cfm
