I am not sure on the birds, but the lincoln mark VIII has them. Truck 302s I believe did not have them either.

Ive been POWNED! Hell its been so long, I probably knew but forgot. I never really got into the 5.0's. Even though i owned an 88 GT. I had two TB SC's, 90 35th and 94, the latter had 3:73's, Proflow MAF, cat back, SC pulley and a 75 shot of N20, I used to make 5.0's my bitches!
Then I went to DOHC in 1996...

Shit, man I thought when they said the motors were forged that meant crank and all. I was wrong. We all learn something everyday. You would school me on mod motors, as I don't know squat.

im still on the fence about the t-bird motors. Some people say forged some say hypers.

Im trying to find actual for specs to end that debate. Who has a 1991 ford thunderbird brochure haha.

Yup, you should be good, I just read all those links and it seems that ALL 5.0 HO's had forged pistions. If it has MAF its forged it appears til 1/2 of 1992.

I prefer them in boosted applications.

The 9333-PT1's let go well before my pistons did in my 95 hyper motor.
