  • Tech help- 2011 Gt500 brembos on '12 GT

Picking up a set of brembo take offs from a 2011 shelby. I was wondering if anyone knows off hand if the calipers will clear the stock 18x8 base wheels on a 2012 5.0

    Thanks

I'm not sure that the stock 18x8's will work. Think thats why the 11-13's come with 19inch wheels when you do the Brembo package.

Edit: Call nearest ford dealer parts or service dept. and ask them. They should know.

Those wheels 100% for sure will NOT clear those brakes.

Nope, you must have 19's and if they are not Ford mustang wheels, you will need the proper back spacing...

Okay, so According to this thread, a 1" Eibach spacer will work.

Are the stock 5.0 brakes selling?

              Fuck running spacers!

Just pony up and buy new wheels.

Well if the spacers will work for now I would like to go that route, for now. The car has cai, 3" catback, muffler delete, BMR LCA's with relocation brackets, Nitto Nt05's (245's), 3.73 gears, Auto6, SCT running 93 GT500 mufflers going on the car too.

If yall ae interested in a set of SVTPP 19" and 20" rear GT500 wheels and tires, I have a contact for you, he also has the stock hood and a few other takeoff parts.

The spacers would probably work, and will fill out the fenders better than stock, especially if you're lowered. You got all that ballin ass shit on your car and you're gonna throw the stock wheels on it. Weak!!
