  • offest steering rack bushings?

    Hey guys,

I have a '90 Gt that I just put BBK progressive rate springs, rear lower control arms, ebiach sway bars, and BBK caster camber plates. I was wondering in yall's experience, is the bumpsteer bad enough to require the install of offset rack bushings or not? I went ahead and bought them, and need to know if I should go ahead and install them before getting the car aligned or just send them back, so far the car feels ok, but haven't driven it much. If you vote to install, how difficult is it?

    Thanks in Advance

    Brad

I think it will depend on how much the car is lowered.

I'm thinking it was about 1 and 1/4 or so..

In order to know for sure you need to actually measure the bumpsteer, but taking a look at the angle of the A-arms and steering tie rods relative to each other can give you an idea.

they will help... any little bit helps after being lowered...
did the bushings to mine, and it made the angle of the rack better
