If ALL you want to do is run your 4 lugs, knock out all the studs and have the axles/rotors redrilled to the 4 lug pattern.
Keep in mind, though, that the mark VII rotors have a much larger bearing hub that will cause issues as well. VERY FEW wheels (for a Mustang) have a center hole large enough to clear the hub.

That may be a better route. Thanks White88 for pointing that out. Hopefully I can get for a 100.00 now.

I'm bumping this back to the top. Heres my problem maybe yall can help me out.
I have what I believe to be an 8.8 out of an 87 Lincoln MkII in the factory five. But what's throwing me off is I was under the impression the lincolns did not have the quad shock bracket, my diff does. My main goal is Im trying to ditch these longer lincoln axles, so I can have the shorter width. I need to tuck the tires a bit more in my fenders. Heres my questions,,

        1. Since my 8.8 has the quad shock bracket, is it out of a lincoln? Could they have put Lincoln axles in a fox 8.8?

        2. What axles do I need to run? I've heard ranger, but what year? Does it matter? Or should I order some Moser 5 lug mustang axles.

        3. My brake setup is all lincoln in the rear and works great, what am I gonna need to do to keep what I have. I was reading a little bit about the "lincoln disk flip" but it was very vague.

i plan on calling North race cars tomorrow, but figured somebody here has gone through this.

        Thanks

You could have the ten holes redrilled for the correct bolt pattern.

            THIS^

i have sn95 rear brakes on my coupe with foxbody (35 splined) width axles

the sn95 axles are 3/4 wider

If you buy the 3/4 offset bracket from north racecars ($170ish)

you can keep the stock width

Keep in mind that any stock mustang wheel sits waayy in the fender well.

if you want stock wheels to sit kinda flush like aftermarket wheels just bolt in a sn95 rearend.

and if you want to keep your ebrake youll need proper cables $80

            not worth the money imo

Next time ill just go aftermarket

North race cars is telling me I'm not going to ba able to keep my brakes without "a lot of work". I currently have the whole Lincoln set up, rotors, and calipers.

It might be easier to pick up a set of fox length axles, the brackets mentioned above, and some Sn95 rear brakes.

FWIW i have c clips on mine to. think we used a few washers to space it out more.

                          Cheaper does sound better though
