That is what I was thinking, either a hose, or possibly the neck on the plastic radiator. I still do not understand that concept.

The wifes ex has a 08+ f350. Hes had to replace the upper hose, and is having to do a radiator... He said a friend of his is on his 4th radiator.

It was coming from the drive side front so I can nearly guarantee it came from the radiator or the hose. He had the hood up, and it was the black plastic radiator. More then likely it has something to do with fords use of the gold anti freeze. I regularly flush my 04 F150, and swap it out. I have heard bad things about it.

it got a radiator and the updated degas setup at like 36k

some trucks go through tons of them, others have no problems. I'm guessing the ones that go through tons of them don't have the updated degas setup on them like they should

I had a 08 that got the updates and first radiator at 40k miles, it got another radiator almost 50k miles later, but after a little bitching ford ate half. The 09 I have got a radiator at 90k miles. My 2010 with 25k miles hasn't needed one yet.

They are a high dollar radiator at around $800.

I know the owner of a 150k mile 08 that hasn't had a radiator since the one he had replaced under the 36k mile warranty.

I'd suggest a duramax gmc because they're coola' and faster.

Or spill the beans on a 08+ 6.4.
