Spec or Centerforce?

I had a centerforce dual friction. I liked it until it started slipping, now I have a spec stage 3+ and love it.

Does it get slippery when a lot of torque is applied to the disk?

I really liked my stage 3+ with the light weight pressure plate option.

another vote for the stage 3+ i destroyed the stage 3 and hated it and went with the 3+ and loved it, definatly worth the money.

As long as you understand the characteristics of each stage of the clutch kits Spec offers and proper break in is done with all new parts, I doubt you will have much issues with the product.

You might need to go C4, word on the street is you have trouble getting into 3rd on money runs. lol

For the guys that broke the Spec 2 - what kind of #s did you have? Is the 2 enough for 400 tq?

Centi Dual friction, it chatters like a bitch, but when I need it, it has not let me down...

they do chatter some, I remember it, but when you need to lay down some times, or the power, it is there for you. Ill never forget mine finally letting go. It was a sad day.

yes the spec stage 2 is rated at 520 ft/lbs of torque

I had spec stage 3 in my 600whp mach1 and now have it in my 440whp cobra and havent had any problems with it. Its still the same one i had in my mach 1 just swaped it out b4 i got rid of the mach and been beating the crap out of it and 2yrs later its still holding up to hard launches with slicks at the track.
