Best fluid for tr3650?

Anyone use the royal purple synchromax? If so which weight?

Im using penzoil synchromesh. I like it, tranny feels like it shifts smoother without the 1 - 2 shift grind

i always used the GM synchromesh

and don't overfill it. google tremec 3650 tsb.

After reading more on it i might just do a synthetic atf like royal purple, i saw they have the syncromax but according to a tsb sent out by tremek they prefer you use an atf on the 3650.

Motorcraft ATF and 1 bottle of Motorcraft Friction Modifier. The FM helps the friction material on the blocking rings.

I personally used Royal Purple Synchromax. I never had any issues. And the transmission was quieter and shifted a lot smoother than what ever was in it from the factory. Its not like the transmission was loud before, but I could tell it was quieter...

I like both the Penzoil Synchromesh (same as the GM, but cost less...also what's in my T-56) and the RP Synchro-max...I'll probably put that in next to compare the 2.
