          True, but to me there is just something cooler about same brand swaps. I like the coyote into fox because it's still a 5.0, that being said, I don't care about going fast and for the record I like your car. People should just do what they like and not worry so much about what others think.

              This thread went from the OP talking about a stout all-motor car to a "let's make a brazillion WHP!" pissing match.

              Personally, if you already have some good heads, I would buy a used high compression 347 and a motor cam, tune it, and call it a day. But that's just me and wanting to make 420-450whp on the cheap.

                    I've read that fbody accessories have to be used with a LS swap. Can someone tell me why that is? If I had a LQ4 6.0 with all accessories from a truck would I be able to use it or would I have to get fbody accessories?

                      Height difference (truck taller), more options out in the market for Fbody relocation brackets, car accessories are closer to motor and trucks stick out more towards the radiator. Also, per Google that the truck accessories will NOT fit with the LS1 intake manifold without modifications. The idler pulley and truck water pump radiator hose outlet will hit the throttle body. Also, you have to check your hood clearance with the alternator. It sits quite high with the truck brackets
