fuel pressure

i have a 1993 coupe with a 5.0 with 24lb ingectors and i was wondering what the fuel pressure should be at. it has a adjustable fuel pressure regulator on it.. its at about 30psi now.

What mods does the car have?

stock bottom end. gt40 heads 1.7 roller rockers bbk ssi intake 24lb injectors and mass air. exaust. nothing special really.

I would bump it up to 35-40psi

Stock is KOEO 35-45 psi, KOER 30-40 psi

39 with the vacuum port disconnected, should be about 33-34 with the port hooked up.

ok. i screwed it all the way down and 40 is as high as it would go so i guess its ok. before that it was at about 28 - 30

Is the vacuum line on at 40? If so u are way rich.

yeah thats with vacume. and its running real rich.im gonna back it off to about 30lbs to 35lbs.

try 33 with the line on... or if you can pull the line, set it to 38-39 with the line OFF.
