My truck had a 5.3 with a ls6 cam shorty headers and a stall with a 125 shot. It ran 7.68. I wanna say sam had a 4.8 in his extended cab with a 200 shot and it ran 7.30s. I'm not sure on te exact time but it was real fast for a 4.8 in a extended cab1997 viper gts

in stock form there is little difference in power between the 4.8 and 5.3. and pending year the numbers may be different. i know i loose a little power through my transfer case but i would bet my girls truck with the 4.8 out runs my 5.307 f250-family truckster

Damn ! I'll tell my dad about this. He was talking about putting an LS in his '41 Ford truck he's about to start building. My also need to talk to you about transporting a car from Arizona.
