My truck had a 5.3 with a ls6 cam shorty headers and a stall with a 125 shot. It ran 7.68. I wanna say sam had a 4.8 in his extended cab with a 200 shot and it ran 7.30s. I'm not sure on te exact time but it was real fast for a 4.8 in a extended cab

in stock form there is little difference in power between the 4.8 and 5.3. and pending year the numbers may be different. i know i loose a little power through my transfer case but i would bet my girls truck with the 4.8 out runs my 5.3

why do you think the 302 or 351 wont run smoother or be better daily driven?? Its all about how the motor is built and if its tuned right. Build a motor right and take care of maintenance on it and it will last. So stop thinking about going down in displacement. Thats backwards

for 100.00 finders fee I will take you over there. The set up is still in the SUV and looks like new. I want my 100.00 if you buy it or not though.
