  • No Ranger TailLights..

Well its a 94 ranger with a 2.3. The problem happened when my dad pushed in the clutch and pop no taillights. He said it felt like the pull a wire. But i looked and cant find anything. Fuses and bulbs seem fine. So whats the culprit??

I'd be looking at the brake light switch

They are cheap and it's mounted on the brake pedal arm, the wires going into the plug could have pulled out, simple fix or the switch has failed.

You could check for continuity with the switch engaged, thatll tell you if its closing the circuit or not.

Second pic is the brake lamp switch, with a good test light you should have power on one of the wires normally. With the Hewlett pedal pressed you should have power on both wires.
