    I'm pretty sure that, as I understand it, a cam advertised for a 302 will have the advertised power band shift down if installed in a 351.

    How much of a shift are we talking?

    If the e303 isadvertised as 1500-5500 power band, what might/could that equal on the 351, or is there no rule of thumb?

    This is not a discussion on the merits of the E303 or how it's antiquated technology, not trying to go down that road.

    It wont really shift the powerband much, couple hundred maybe.. but it will benefit from a cam better suited for the extra cubes

      I've used the E303 in a 351w. It moves the powerband up quite a bit, it pulled much harder to 6k rpm.

        With all things being exactly the same between the two with only cubic inches being different, about 500 rpms. I have a TFS stage 3 in my 393 and it pretty much is done by 5900 rpms. In a 302 with the same exact shit on it, it should be done around 6700 rpms.
