  • Need recommendations for new plugs..

Well, I tried to get the Coupe inspected today and it did not pass.
HCs are through the roof. The car has been sitting a lot for the last
three years, only driven about 600 miles. It needs a tune up. so..

    90 stock 5.0 and heads
    e-cam
    cobra intake
    36lb injectors
    83mm mass/ 75mm T/B
Old ass SN89 Paxton making about 7lbs.
    shortie headers
bassani x pipe w/ gutted cats.
    stock a9L comp/tune

As it sits now, three years ago it passed.

    Thanks
    Doug

          This.

If you do have to change plugs Autolite 3925's gapped to stock (.050) will work fine.

Yes I know this, but would still like to change/upgrade plugs.
They are like 10 years old.

i pulled one of mine, and I have Autolite 4525s. It looked good, nice and golden brown. So I start checking the rest. All on the drivers side looked great. Start on the passenger side and WTF! One of the plug wires was off. Jesus, what a dumb-ass thing to see. Clean the rest, check all the plug wires, cap and rotor. Start it up. Runs great, no miss, quick throttle response. Take it for a quick trip around the block, big difference. lol
