Dammit the car started acting up again today. Running great for over 500 miles with a buddies distributor and TFI still on board. So it seems I can rule out distributor and TFI. It's like the car just completely shuts down, like turning off the key, for a split second, then it comes back. Sometimes it stumbles for a few seconds during recovery. The AFR's get really rich too like 11.1 then creep back up and the car goes into open loop for 30 seconds.

      Bad ECM?
      Bad Ignition Switch?

Dying fuel pump ? Dont let fuel volume fool you into thinking you have fuel pressure

Yes, but the ting is that my car immediately goes into open loop for the warmup cycle of 30 seconds. The TPS voltage drops to 0, timing, MAF voltage and RPM's all drop to 0 on the datalogs for a second. It's like the key gets turned off then back on. That's why it goes into open loop because it thinks it's just being started so the Hegos are trying to warm up. That's my theory. I just don't know what could cause such a random clip of the power to the ecm. That's what got me to thinking ignition switch. If it dies at idle the injectors are still pulsing, relays are clicking, and the fuel pump is running. It sounds like it's doing a self diagnotic test or something.

Maybe the ECM Relay. Would the starter wires on the 94-95 feed the main power distribution box under the hood? The solenoid came loose right befre all this happened. I tightened it back up but could the maybe it has a short?

Where is the ECM relay located on a 95? Last night the car got worse. Now the car free revs to 2500 RPM, the Rel Tp value drops to zero and the car stalls. Relays start to click and sometimes the fuel pump stays on. I'm getting a Cobra ECM tonight, and I really hope this solves the issue. I can't even make it out of the driveway now.

I pull codes for KOEO and get 511. I think that's for the Moates chip. I cannot perform KOER because it keeps stalling. If I keep my foot in it then it pops and backfires, the cel light flashes very rapidly with every stumble like a short or something. Once it dies during a KOER test it will not restart until you remove the jumper wire.

Wow, I can't believe you haven't figured that out yet. I hope you get it fixed soon.

I know, and I've never had a lick of trouble with this car. I'm patiently waiting for the ECm to get in my hands tonight. I'm also waiting for a J3 chip to arrive in my mailbox so I can burn it, and replace the MOates Quarter Horse. That will eliminate the only other thing I can think of. Chip, ECM, then finally ign switch. No workie, burning it.

Just pulled the Quarterhorse and burned the tune to a J3 chip. So far no more issues since the swap. Hopefully the problem has been solved. Maybe Moates will swap out my QH for a new one or cut me a price break.

I removed the QH and then I burned a J3 chip to take it's place. Seems to be happy so far. I'll be getting another QH next week. I readjusted the valves today and it's running great!
