It's usually hard enough for a shop to get my only request correct in that I don't want ANY wheel weights on the outside lip of the wheel, so I'm sure as hell not going to drive the car up there and let them put it on a rack or run a jack under it.
I don't have a extra vehicle anymore. When I did, I would take them up there off the car. A lot faster that way too.

I rarely take my car to have tires put on it as I always pull the wheels off and take them in. But if I do actually take the car in for tires I am with in 3 foot of it at all times...

Discount Tire broke my flip up license plate 4 days after I installed that fucker. I went to have a tire repaired b/c of a nail. They jacked it up from the front but never looked before they started. Broke into pieces! At least they paid for it

I wont either. My mustangs, I take the wheels to them. The Truck and the Expy I doubt they could hurt them.

When you have a 8200 lb truck and you tell them to fill the tires to 80PSI and they fill them to the "32" that they always do.
Also my GF took her car to the shop for an alignment and they decided to weld some piece of metal rod to the tierod (I have absolutely no idea why lol). Anyways, the idiot who did it somehow cut a penny size hole in the transmission. By the time it was back to her house it didn't want to go up the driveway.
I had to lol because I hated that hyundai anyways though

What shop was it? It depends on how much of a dick you want to be. If it a discount store you talk to the manager and then corporate. If its a small shop then you call the cops and get a damage report and take to small claims. Or bash the shit out of them on the internet. You just have to decide how far you want to take it. I bet I know which shop it was...

You thinking affordable? They're the guys who messed up my floor pan.

The fender was l-a tire off of locust, I normally go to the one on 288/380 and have had zero problems, but they didn't have 245/50 and 225/55 in stock so I had to go across town.. Never again.

I just sucked it up and went home and fixed their fuck up, got a PM sent out on 2 fenders, waiting on a reply.

Tell them you want the wheels static balanced.

Check the information tag usually located on the inner drivers side door jam, you may be overfilling the tires. Also, if you don't have XL or LT rated tires, they won't hold 80 psi.

Yes they will it's what they are rated at. The truck makes them look flat at 32PSI. It doesn't matter if its a diesel excursion or an escort...they fill them to 32psi, I think it's their shop "standard."

What kind of truck exactly. You'd be surprised just how many trucks do not specify 80 psi in the tires. Take my 1ton dually for instance, it's got 65 psi as the recommended pressure, some 3/4 ton trucks are 55 and 70, or any of a myriad of combinations thereof.

it's a 7.3 excursion. We used to run 65psi but it would spit of chunks of the tire after just 5,000 miles

Yeah that's who I was thinking. La almost killed me and friend one time, crossthreaded all the lug nuts and the wheel came off on the 635/35 overpass. You won't get much out of them. I only go places I know people doing the work or I do it myself when it comes to things I can't do ith what I have at the houe.

Wow, That's some BS. I would have been livid. I wish I had an old school tire machine/tool.
