For cheap 2-3k n/a to n/a 351 will walk it.

He'll I'd be tempted to say a stock 93 lightning 351 w/ a cam and maybe intake would lay it down just fine. Still has butthole gt40s though. And that's CHEAP.

Lol 5.8 base > anything sir. Swap parts nickle and dime you to death, or my coupe would be 5.8.

Or 8.2 deck 302 to a 363.. Game over son! But that's mad ass cash.

So basically what you two yahoos are trying to tell me is that the intake is physically limiting the cars RPM capabilities... It may not make power at those high RPM levels, but it'll spin that high. You want to turn more RPM, do valvetrain work. If you want to make power at higher RPM, do intake work.

Well the stock cobras hit 7500 I believe while mine is at 6500 but most of that is due to the different intake cam but yea there is power to be gained and rpm to be gained from shortening the runners

You don't need to do valvetrain work...lol. Shortening the runners is all that needs to be done and it'll rev freely. That's b head cobras for ya.

It's not limiting rpm it's limited the the power it makes in high rpm.

Take off the rev limiter and it'll rev until it breaks.

yeah i have 98 cobra cams sitting in my closet but haven't found a person willing to install and degree them for me. so there they sit, right now i have a fully ported lower intake manifold and am prolly pushing 330 to the wheels and was hoping for 350 to 360 with 98 cams but im not brave enough to install by myself let alone degree them lol.
