  • Issues with my Fox-Symptoms inside......

Started a week ago when car just died at the car wash
Switch on-No Fuel Pumps Towed Home
Next day Jumped battery w/o turning motor Pumps On-But stay on
won't shut off when system would normally load before starting.
Started troubleshooting found No spark from Dizzy-changed dizzy
Have spark now but when starting Dies-Won't Idle-Misses BADLY.
Replaced ECU, Dizzy, Cables, Plugs(3rd set) and even got a new coil.
Tried with both ecu's with and w/o chip. I'm STUMPED!
All plugs are drenched in gas, pumps won't shut off.
Car was running smooth w/o any hickups.
Was told could be bad gas from recent fill up at Shell station in Haslet
but gas smells normal to me..
EFI 347 Stock Lines with dual pumps, 60lb injectors with Diablo chip
Any ideas are more than welcome. TIA

Wonder if anyone knows how to check w/o having to send it to PMAS
which can be an adventure. Mine is the 92mm PMAS goes inside the fender.
      Thanks

Yep, under the drivers seat. It could be on the fenderwell depending on what year it is though.

Passenger side fender apron by the air box is where your fuel pump relay is.

I'd say you have a common ground problem somewhere.

Also check your battery terminal connections for loose\frayed\burned\"barely there" wires\connections.

So you got a new ECM right? Was it an A9L, A9P, ??? Salt and pepper shakers good and tight? You might try taking them apart and inspecting for corrosion.
