I know this is a stupid question but what is the sole preposterous of the two little shocks on the rear end? It's a 1993 coupe

My car had KYB quads on it, and honestly, it made the car ride like crap, and I saw no difference with or with out them on it. I always yank my stockers off. My coupe came with the kybs on it, made no difference at the track.

Don't take them off unless you have after market lca's. The stockers have elongated holes and the quads help offset this.

Ok, the quads help with wheel hop. Without them, many people experience severe wheel hop (to the point of breakage). Good aftermarket LCA's generally come with spherical aluminum bushings or at least heavy polyurethane and help reduce or in some cases, eliminate wheel hop. That is how they are a must IMO.

100% agree . I even run them with good lca's . It does ride stiffer but the rear stays where it should be .

my old coupe didn't have quads, it was a wheel hopping mofo.

Lol, yeah! I found out the hard way. 570 rwhp lx 5spd, wheel hop ripped a torque box bad after it put my DR's on.
