Just wondering if anyone has seen a measurable decrease in coolant temps with the addition of a oil cooler. My turbo lsx coupe stays cool currently, but with the warm weather this weekend and me running a/c it started creeping up pretty good on me. I doubt it'll be able to keep cool when it gets real hot with the a/c on. My oil temps where hovering around 230-240* once fully warm.
I was wondering if I added a cooler on the oil and I could bring those oil temps down if that'd have any effect on coolant temp.
My only other option is to try to fit a pusher on the front of my intercooler to help the mark 8 fan. I am not real suprised it is having problems since the air has to go through a 3/4" trans cooler, 4" intercooler, 1" a/c condenser, and 3" radiator (total of about 9" of core that the fan is trying to pull air through (plus the gaps between).
