  • Anyone have a 3/4" breaker bar or balls to the wall impact?

I am needing one or the other for a 5 minute job this weekend. I live in Midlothian and need to borrow one. I would be more than happy to leave a cash deposit for either or replace in the unlikely event that I break it. I just do not want to shell the cash for either since I only need it for this one job.

I have a 3/4 composite IR you can borrow but it takes a lot of air. If you can take the part to my house I can zip them off for you.

If it doesn't come off...it gets rung off. <---1 inch drive impact. Shit ive had to use it to get a harmonic balancer bolt off a honda last week. Some jack hole put what looked like a whole tube of red loctite on it.

The breaker bar did not work out... I am trying to collapse a crush sleeve on a rear end. I have the ability to run a lot of air, all my lines are 1/2" The only thing is that my air line connection to the tool is only like 1/4" That is my bottle neck.... I could bring the axle to you if you have good air supply as well. Only thing is I dunno how we would hold the assembly from rotating as I am currently using the brakes to hold it.

They should'nt make loctite red so readily available to the general public lol. Iv had to drill/torch off all sorts of stuff beacuse of it.

Get a 3-4' long piece of flat bar,put a v shaped notch and drill it for 2 driveshaft bolts.
The v shaped notch will fit around the center lip/allow clearance for the socket.I have used a 1/2" drive bar to do what you are doing.

I was changing a timing belt on it, took off a OEM honda belt, bet a stealership did that.

stephen4785 is the man, he let me borrow a 3/4" drive IR impact AND a 50' 3/4" air line to run it. It took all it had but it worked. I am on the road again and I need to return this stuff!
