  • H/c/I, intake and inject question.

I've been rounding up the parts to complete my hci build, here's the combo.

    Brodix 1.94 5.0st r heads 1.6 rocker arms
    Anderson b25 cam
Bbk ceremic long tubes 1 5/8

Parts I still need, and in the air on which would be the best for the combo.

I still need an intake manifold, I was set on an RPM2 but got to thinking it may be to big, 1500-6500. I don't plan on turning it past 6,000.

Throttle body, 70mm seems to be the ideal size but does brand really matter? Ive heard accufab is the way to go, but is it worth the $ spent?

Mass air meter, what size? Which are the easiest to tune? I'll be taking the car to be dyno tuned so should I contact the tuner and ask them?

And finally injectors, what size would fit this combo best? It will be n/a. 24#? 30#?

Thanks in advance. If you know anyone or have any of re parts listed above, shoot me a PM.

RPM II, 90mm LMAF meter, 30# injectors, 75mm accufab race tb. Largest the RPM II can be ported to without hitting the water jacket. 4" CAI tube.

              1. RPM2, its what you want even if u shift at 6k.
              2. TB you want a 70 mm Accufab, or 75 if you open up the intake port but this is un-necessary at your power level.
              3. MAF 24# Pro-M, I have a new one if you want.
              4. 24# are good for 400 rw na, I dont think a 302 has ever done that in a street small cam setup.

Also, I want to use a anderson power pipe, they have a 3.5inch and a 4inch.

I think the 3.5 will work best, but what would be the negatives of using a 4inch instead?

Pro-M on the maf. Trust me mike. 30 lbers will work good on this combo. As far as the intake goes, either the edelbrock rpm, or the systemmax. The TFS is ok, I would want to see it with a different cam.

Sell me those 24# injectors you got.

There are better cams out there, I want to throw this one in and see how it runs, and I'll go from there.

For the intake the holley systamax II is the best available for a 302 ci motor. I would suggest 70 mm tb. hunt for an accufab if not at least a name brand such as bbk. mass air, hands down go with the lightning 90 mm. 24# injectors will be enough but 30# will also be fine just go with what ever you can find the best deal on.

Why not a carb style intake like the Spyder?
