I love my 6.4, but no way in hell I'm owning it outside of a factory warranty. I'll probably end up with a clean 07 5.9 and buying a different vehicle to DD.

Surely that will pull the numbers up before they change the engines out to the next model. People keep buying 7.3's up and either fixing their little issues or rebuilding them because they are great trucks. If I pay 50k for a truck, and pay the extra maintainance every year to have a diesel, I expect it to last at least five to ten years with out having any major issues.
And I don't think you guys are understanding why the 6.4 has problems. If you get rid of all the emission shit on the truck the 6.4 is even a stouter engine then the 7.3. It sucks you have to spend money to make it reliable but once you do, you have a million time better truck then the 7.3. I know this cause I have owned both.2010 F-350 6.4L SRW CC 4X4
Spartan tunes, 5 inch flo-pro, 4 inch down pipe, cold side piping, AFE stage 2 CAI, EGR delete, Air Dog II
2012 Mustang 5.0 GT Stock........for now.

I have 72k miles on my 6.4 and it never given me a problem plus I'm making 4 times the power and get better mpg.

The dodges were the same way about the DPF problems. I'm not sure if the figured it out, but the 08's I had only had DPF crack/clogging problems up to 150k miles.

Will they pass inspection with the DPF delete?
I know diesels used to not be put on the sniffer. I have no idea what has changed since the new emissions stuffOriginally posted by BradMBut, just like condoms and women's rights, I don't believe in them.Originally posted by LeahIn other news: Brent's meat melts in your mouth.

In Cook County they do not check for any emissions stuff, but I'm pretty sure they do in Denton County and belowOriginally posted by BuzzoSome dudes jump out of airplanes, I fuck hookers without condoms.
