Mass air throttle body

I have a buddy that has a 306 with fresh rebuild and was passed down some parts. But I think they are to big for his combo. Anyone chime in and let me know.

306 b cam
Gt40 heads 1.7 scorpion rockers
And explorer intake
70 mm bbk throttle body
80 mm mass air
36 lb injectors
Long tubes

Where would these parts be hurting him the most on the low end or high end..

Yea he was told that it wouldn't hurt it from ford racing. It would only flow what the computer is asking for them.. I was thinking the same thing.. Would the larger mass air throttle body and injectors hurting him

I would replace the cam with a TFS Stg 1, add 1-3/4 longtubes, 75mm tb(open the intake throat), and a 90mm MAF meter. INjectors are fine with a decent tune.

Sounds well rounded. There is room for improvement. I would have the heads shaved down a little and run a bigger Maf.
