  • Procharger on the Cobra?

So, I'm getting kinda bored and found a decent deal on a P1SC that would fit my 1994 Cobra. It currently has a mild 408 setup that puts ~440 to the ground. I know the P1SC is a "entry level" blower, but I'm not looking to make 900hp, just sick of filling up the bottle.

What kind of power would it make on a 408? I assume I would need the 14lb pulley to spin it enough to make decent boost...

The p1sc was designed by a chimp.

I liked my P1, but would not buy another one. A lot racket from bearings and other noises all the damned time. It worked, but not like you'd expect from a professional company.

Long story short, get a basic turbo install done. Very similar costs.

My P1SC w/3.4" (10#) pulley makes 130hp over baseline through a 9.5" torque converter and stock h-pipe with a clogged cat. Stock from the 65mm TB all the way to the oil pan.

OK, let me get caught up.

                            1. So the design of the P1 sucks.

                            2. The D1 is much better.

                            3. I do not know what poor t5 means. I have a TKO (as listed in my sig).

                            4. 440 was the last number I pulled, but that was with a few changes. Shouldn't be far off. And yes, the heads are 205s (see sig)

                            5. FU Jeremy.

                            6. That number is of course off of the bottle, it made 560 on a 125 shot last time dyno'd.

                            7. So, Ceyko, the P1 is a loud blower or the bearing noise was something you had to fix? My Novi was pretty noisy, but that was "normal."

Hmm, so, I wonder what it would do on mine with a smaller pulley.
