Goallllllllllllll!!!!! Yes I wanted to hug a stranger today. Guy put the 73 nose on his Trans Am a while back and had this pile in his storage. I made him an offer on the nose and bumper not knowing he had the bottom spoiler. I needed one headlight bezel anyways which are retarded high and figured if the nose looked better then mine I would use it. Well he pops the hatch on his SUV and says here you can have all this for the same price. Totally saved me a ton of money on parts and trying to find this stuff. Picking up the little rear spoiler tomorrow and then I am done with body parts other then 150 bucks worth of sheet metal.

At one point it had a black one. That is POR15 on it so it wouldnt rust after it was stripped off a few years back.

Does the formula have a TH350 or TH400? The T/A my friend bought had a 350 but we swapped in a 400 later on for better longevity.

A little better and I found the rear spoiler for it local I just havent had a chance to mount it. I also have the new grill piece that showed up at my parents yesterday. I just threw it on there to keep it from looking like an ole wreck out there.

POR15 is a durable paint, but I don't think regular primer/paint will bond to it. Stripping it down to bare metal again, or use the POR product for painting over POR15... that's what I learned when I painted over floor boards that I'd put in & put POR15 over on the Bronco (installed repop, bare metal)

                    Love the project.

Going to bead blast it if I keep it. My neighbor approached me about buying my house and I may be changing departments soon and this is just kind of a fun project that will require some change to finish. Time will tell thats for sure. I just keep tinkering with it until I figure it out. I had a guy offer me a decent amount for it after seeing it when I listed some extra parts and I was tempted. Who knows. I know my other three are keepers but this thing might get a new home. I know I want a shop on my next house.
