        Scott told me what happened to the car Jon, Did you ever get it figured out?

        There's a video on youtube that was just posted a couple days ago - maybe the same problem. He was complaining about injector drivers. He cut the original ones out, and replaced them with something else.

        Onjacks has one, blk93cpe has one, I have one and I think there's a couple more on here.

        I haven't seen one single car that didnt' have some sort of problem though.

          It's happened twice now, seems like once I get one problem fixed/figured out another one presents itself...

          I like tunerstudio much better than BigComm or C-com, but doesn't matter when the ecu goes out every pass.

          Looking at log it looks like I lost rpm first, then injector drivers... And all around 7100 rpm, yet the pass before it would not rev past 6250...

          I'm running ms3x on a v3.57 with 36-1 trigger wheel

              Tacho out to msd 7530 box running the blue msd coil ( one for msd digital 6)

                what about dwell, trigger input etc?

                batter voltage was strong on those passes etc? I know you've talked to Matt, I'm sure he's covered all that - just curious.

                  Onjacks runs it, from what I have heard from him, he likes it.

                    Max dwell 2.8
                    Max spark .7

                    Ignition capture rising edge
                    Spark output -going high(inverted)

                    I really don't know what dwell duration and spark duration do, but that is what they were set at

                    Batter voltage was 16.1
                    I emailed Matt my log and msq, have not heard back from him...

                      I have one sitting in a box, that I built when my car had the turbo on it.

                      My only problem was the engine not holding up long enough for me to get into really learning the ins and outs.

                        dwell duration is the amount of time the coil is allowed to charge. If it's set too long, it can burn the coil up, if it's too short, it will misfire like hell.

                        Max spark is the amout of time it can discharge said spark.

                        There was a post in the MSEFI forum that Jim Cortina made that showed the math and how that at 6500RPM there's X ms of time to charge and discharge the coil (in a V8) and explained how the times have to be pretty good to run right
