You need 26" DRs instead of the 28" for your current set-up.

Build a turbo setup, if you do it you will look back and won't be able to imagine how much it would have cost n/a to go slower. 93mcobra is doing bottom 6's on a stock block with a stock cam!

Or LSX swap and a turbo!

The E-cam will work, Andeson cam is better, Custom cam is the best. A custom cam is only cost $25- $50 more the the best OTS cam. If you are going to make the change the cam you need to contact Bullet Cams or Ed Curtis. Just do right the first time and save yourself time and money.

I'm running the TFS heads with an N-41 cam and am pleased with the performance of that combo.

Buy a Dart Block Or Motorsport 4 bolt main block, and use that as your block. Throw away the stock block.

I would just leave the E-cam with those 1.7rr and just had a set 185AFR and be done till you save for a different block. Just my 2 cents

All very good ideas, Thanks for all of the input. I will say this, yes, I need some more track time. It has been a long time, since I made mistakes. I just need to focus more, and I will be switching to all out slicks. I am thinking 26x8.5 or 9.0. Those always landed me good times. The car is a street car, that I drive it as a pleasure vehicle, it is not a daily driver. I enjoy the streetablity. My reasoning behind the F cam was, I enjoyed the heck out of it, with a 5 spd and 4.10 gears. How is the anderson cam in the power ranges? lets say 1500-6500? And as far as heads go, TFS, Edelbrock, or AFR? I debated a single turbo, just like onjacks, but I still want to see how his car, holds up, before I go that route. Nitrous, maybe. As far as the block goes, I don't plan on pushing it past its HP range. Its cheaper in the long run, to build it right. Right now, I have this nearly brand new motor, on a old school set up, that I would just like to see run mid 7's with a/c. I don't see why that isn't possible, when I know the old motor with this exact same set up landed me 8.1 at 81 mph. The E cam has really surprised me, but like everyone says the alphabet cams are really dated cams now days. It doesn't mean they are not still good cams, there is just better cams out there.

Flip the shorties and buy a MP70 or buy a hotside and go Turbo.

Pick up some 42# or be even safer with 60# injectors. Hell I just sold a brand new set of 60's for $250. Watch the boards for NIB or LNIB parts for good deals.
Fuck you. We're going to Costco.
