I'm just about ready to button up the 331 this weekend. New additions are Vic Jr heads, Comp Pro Magnum 1.6/1.7 RR's, and a TMoss ported RPM II intake. It should be 11.1 comp ratio with a 60cc head but these have been opened up a little larger to 63cc so I'm thinking 10.5-10.75 comp ratio??? I bought the aluminum header gaskets and the Fel Pro 1263S3 intake gasket so hopefuly this one wont blow. I'v got studs for the intake and ARP bolts for the heads. It now has about 75,000 miles on the shortblock and was using about a qt of oil every 2000 miles. It was a mess under the car so I'm thinking the intake was leaking and maybe that was part of the oil issue. Anyway, anyone think I'll see some 7's in the 1/8th? Its a full weight 95 Cobra.

My coupe also had a 75k mile 95 cobra motor in my coupe. It let go around 89k. It never leaked a drop of oil though. It should yield you some good times. I would easily say that car is capable of going 7's with a set of sticky tires. I have been as fast as 8.1 with the old motor, e cam stock gt40s tfs track heat intake, 24lb injectors, 76mm maf, 65mm tb, exhaust suspension, and 3.73s, with a set of slicks. You should easily hit a 7. Oh and your car looks really good. GL.2005 M3 Vert with TSW rims

I am running the stock cobra computer. Why is that an issue? I drive it 500+ miles a week and knock back over 25 mpg on the hwy. In town it leaves a lot to be desired, but without AC running I get 14-15mpg on average driving "normal". 90mm Lightning MAF, 30# squirters, and a 75mm tb.

Wow, you must not be getting any traction at a 2.2 60 ft. The stock computer is fine, I am running the stocker in my coupe. A tune will help it a bunch though.2005 M3 Vert with TSW rims

I run a smaog pump delete pulley, but I'm really not ever going to run DR's or slicks. I want it to run just what it runs on the street. I have all the brackets for a Vortech at the powder coating shop for my 93 Lightning at the moment. I do run DR's on the truck, and if it breaks down from track abuse then that's ok. The car is my daily commuter.

Now I'm hoping to get 28-30+ degrees out of it. It will need some wot retuning foer sure and maybe a little maf transfer tweaking as well.2005 M3 Vert with TSW rims
