So if I get the 94/95 spindle will the 99-04 brake calipers work and mount up?
They use the same rotor, I was just wondering on the caliper brackets matching or what I would have to do to get them to work.
Thanks.
Go buy the 94/95 Spindles off a GT or V6 Car (They are the same). If you get them off a V6 car they will cost you less money at a boneyard (Although they are the same part number).
BUY the 94/95 Brake Booster off a GT OR V6 Car. DO NOT use the cobra. The 94/95 booster has the correct rod in it to connect to your existing brake pedal without much issues. You'll need to keep the bolts that come off with the 94/95 booster as they are different than your stock booster. (You WILL need to elongate one hole to make the booster fit past your shock tower.).
Buy the 04 Cobra front brakes and rear brakes (Calipers and rotors).
Buy Moser 28-spline axles for a 1995 mustang GT (Yes they are longer than the fox version). Unless you are really want to keep the factory width axles on the rear. (FYI, 94/95 calipers will widen your front about 1/2" on each side regardless what everyone says. (I've done it and mine was wider).
Get the brake brackets for the rear off a axle of a cobra car or buy them from summit racing. (Unless you want to keep the stock length axles, then you'll need to buy the north racecar brackets). (I did stock length, but the front spindles widened my the front of the car, and in the end, I went back and got the SN95 axles and brackets to make the car sit better)
Depending on the year of your car, you'll need 1986 SVO Parking brake cables or 93 cobra parking brake cables.
You'll need a 94/95 V6 or GT Master Cylinder
3 port to 2 port conversion
The Freaking plug for the porportioning block (Ford motorsport sells it).
Couple other things.
Oh yeah, you'll need at least 17" Wheels.
Braking with 04 brakes on a fox car is what the factory SHOULD HAVE put on the cars. The car stops GREAT with them.

Back in the day, you could buy the powdercoated red 04 calipers off summit for like 200 dollars (Not sure how much they cost today).
I just remember buying the fronts for 200 bucks and the rears for 150ish.
