Aeromotive fuel rail install help.

I'm thinking you have the wrong o rings. I have a new set of rails in the garage and some misc. injectors that I can put a new o ring on and try it. Will have to be when I get home after 8 though.

That's what I'm thinking. I need to call aeromotive, or maybe anderson ford motorsports to see if maybe there is a different set of o-rings that I can use. I'll keep you guys posted on what I find out.

I've always bought new o.rings from AutoZone. They are a Felpro product.

just went out to the garage and slipped a new o ring onto an old 19lb injector. it slid right in the new rail. there was a slight resistance but nothing that would make me concerned about.

Advance auto had the o-rings in stock. They fit great. Still snug, I cut one and had to go get another damn box, lol. But at least they were cheap and I'm glad they are in. One less thing to do.

What happened to the color of the rails?

FYI. Aeromotive makes Trick Flow's rails for them and they are black. Same thing, different color. If you want a set I have two extra sets in the garage I will make you a deal on.

Lol, damn. Where were you forever ago? I wanted some brushed stainless or just natural aluminum ones if I could find them... I could not. So I ended up just buying aeromotive ones and getting them blasted. I don't think they look bad like they are, just not the signature anodized red that aeromotive is known for. If it counts, the insides are still red! Giggitty!

I actually started to polish one of them, and it ended up being more trouble than it was worth to me. So I took that one back to my powdercoater and had them blast it again. Maybe a future project!

You ain't kidding about the $3 part halting work. I'm glad that hurdle is behind me.

As far as the combo, it's a CHP 347 flat top pistons, AFM N-91 cam, TFS street heat heads, TFS R-series intake..... that's about all of the major parts. I'm hoping for 375 to 400 whp when it's all said and done.
