4 cyc Conversion Coupe Fuel Pump not priming

Im getting no power to my fuel pump. What do I need to check first before assuming the worst that my fuel pump is bad. Im thinking maybe a relay or solinoid, Just dont know where to look

Car is a 92 Coupe with 5.0 motor

What year eec harnes did you use? I ran into this not to long ago except I tried to use a 91+ harness on a 88 coupe

I checked there & there are two relays under the mass air flow sensor. Im hoping one of these two are it. But not sure how to test the relays to make sure its them

To be honest. I dont know! Is there somewhere I can look to see what harness is was.

The car ran fine when I parked it 4 days ago. Now It just turns & fuel pump doesnt prime

You saying the pump turns but doesn't pump shit?

Alldata showing the pump relay is on right shock tower for a 4 cyl car, called integrated relay control module. Sounds to me like the harness has been changed.

Here is a pic of a relay! Not sure what im looking at. But want to make sure I have the correct relay for the fuel pump

Yes its pushed down, Tried it up & down! Nothing

Im about to drop the tank, & replace the fuel pump. I have a extra pump here anyways

Yes they also put them under the mass air meter. I would try those first, I have some horror stories about that little shit of a part. I have had to use a hair tie to make it connect correctly and make it home. They are under 20.00, and I suggest going to napa or carquest for those. Autozone, and orileys were junk out of the box.

Ok well update! Went out this morning & dropped the tank & had a spare Fuel pump in the garage. Took me all of 15 mins to drop the tank,Well installed the spare fuel pump. Still wont fire. Just turns & turns!

I dont hear the fuel pump priming at all. Gonna go replace both relays under the Mass Air meter & see if this fixes it. KNOCK ON WOOD
