Quick test for bad pump (works 85% of time). Have someone crank the engine over while you hit the center of the tank with the broad side of any normal hammer (16-24 ounce) or claw hammer. You can smack it pretty hard. If the pump is seized or the brushes really worn this will usually shock it enough to get the pump to do something.

As far as checking power goes, Pink\Black is power and Black is ground. There will be a connector going to the fuel pump. Not sure what the key on or cranking voltage will be exactly, as it shows to use a Fuel Pump Driver Module. It will have a varying voltage dependent on fuel load needed.

You need to check the voltage with the fuel pump plugged in. So the electrical system will be loaded. This is to ensure you get proper voltage signal.

Don't forget that if your not cranking on the engine the fuel pump circuit is shut off by the computer after like 5 seconds of the key being cycled to the run position. So if you are under the truck checking voltage make sure someone is there to cycle the key on and off for you or you will not have any voltage down there by the time you turn the key on then climb under there.
